About the Role:

As a WINTEL Engineer in C4i Solutions, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Windows-based infrastructure environments. This includes managing servers, active directory, virtualisation platforms, and associated technologies to ensure secure, stable, and high-performing IT systems across the organisation. The role is located onsite in Sydney, CBD.

About the role:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments across on-premise and cloud platforms.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Build, configure, and deploy servers and virtual machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and outages.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Support and maintain virtualisation platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V).
• Implement and maintain security controls in line with best practices.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams on infrastructure projects.

About you:

• Australian citizen (required for Defence projects) with a min AGSVA NV1 clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
• Strong experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and identity management.
• Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security principles.
• Communicates clearly and confidently, both written and verbal.
• Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Builds positive relationships and manages stakeholders effectively.
• Works well independently and takes initiative.
• Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Adapts easily to change and works well in a team environment.
